Synopsis :
Project A (1983)
This is Hong Kong at the turn of the century. The South China Sea is crawling with smugglers, cut-throats and pirates and none is more successful than the gangled by the gang led by the notorious pirate Lo. Government forces invariably lose to Lo. Finally the Government looks the other way whenever Lo is around.Young seaman Jackie Chan, so far better known for his bar room fights, resigns from the Marine Force. He plans to stage a personal vendetta against Lo. Jackie gets the help of Sammo Hung, little knowing Sammo has his own axe to grind. Jackie and Sammo suffer an inglorious drubbing in the hands of Lo. Jackie, now completely incensed, decides to don the uniform once again. He finds young commander Yuen Biao sympathetic to his cause but adamant against his antics...

At the turn of the century, the people of China are rising against their Manchu rules. In nearby Hong Kong law andorder has broken down. Working hand in glove with the underworld is high police Chun. Chun's misdeeds get the commissoner worried. To curtain Chun, he appoints Dragon Ma (Jackie Chan) as police cheif of a part of Chun's territory. The situation is further compounded by a group of revolutionaries who happen to be beautiful girls and the arrival of a Manchu agent whose purpose is tho kidnap the revolutionies.
